Snails in butter


Ingredients:
  • app. 25 snails in a can
  • 150 g butter
  • 3-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 chopped parsley (app. 1 spoon)
  • 2 tablespoons of ground almonds withoun peel
  • salt, pepper

shells for baking snails – you can buy in special shops or in an online shop

1. Heat an oven to 180 Celcius degrees - 356 Fahrenheit degrees.
2. Crush garlic, grind almonds.
3. Mix butter with garlic, almonds powder, mustard and parsley.
4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
5. Put the butter into each shell, put snails into the shells and add a little more butter into each shell. Bake for app. 10 mins. Serve with baguette or bread.
