Chicken Tajin

 
Ingredients:
  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • couple of handfuls of raisins
  • 10 dried plums       
  • 10 dates       
  • 6 dried figs       
  • 2 onions               
  • tajin spice mixture       
  • 100 g butter       
  • salt       
  • pepper
  1. Wash plums, raisins, dates, and figs. Put into hot, boiled water, cover and leave for 30 mins.
  2. Wash chicken fillets and cut into stripes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Dice onions and fry in a frying pan on butter.
  4. Put chicken into the frying pan and fry with onion.
  5. Pour plums, raisins, dates, and figs with water into the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle with 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of Tajin spice, stir and simmer for 20 mins.
  7. Serve with traditional Moroccan couscous or alternatively with rice.
